At this presentation, experienced investor and property coach Roy Adam will take you through an in-depth look at property due diligence within the context of your overall business/investment goals.
Due diligence is not a cookie-cutter process. The right questions have to be asked and the right data has to be interpreted to get the information that is relevant to your investment strategy and overall purpose. At this session Roy will
- Help you understand (or at least crystallise in words) what your overall financial goals are and why you are investing in properties;
- Translate your goals into measurable metrics (for example if you plan to be have enough cashflow to quit your day job in three years time how much passive cashflow must your portfolio achieve for you this year, next year and the year after?);
- How to target/seek out properties on the market that deliver these specific metrics for purchasing; and
- How to analyse these properties to determine their respective qualities and how well they will fit into your portfolio
This presentation very much focuses on buying quality deals over buying many deals. There is no black and white answer to the question of proper due diligence but rather you will be given the skills you need to create a due diligence process that is meaningful to you and measurable in terms of performance.
